Policy Maps

Policy maps are the means by which you apply your class-map properties to physical
switch ports.

Figure 38-6 on page 38.11

illustrates this concept. Note that a policy-map

can be assigned to several ports, but a port cannot have more than one policy-map
assigned to it.

To create and name a new policy-map you use the
