Configuring an LACP Channel Group
The following example shows how to configure three links between two Allied Telesis
managed Layer 3 Switches. The three links are assigned the same administrative key (1),
so that they aggregate to form a single channel (1). They are viewed by the STP as one
interface.

Enter the Global Configuration mode.
awplus(config)#
lacp system-priority 20000
Set the system priority of this switch. This
priority is used to determine which switch in
the system is responsible for resolving
conflicts in the choice of aggregation groups.
A lower numerical value has a higher priority.
Switch 1 has a higher priority than Switch 2 in
this configuration.
awplus(config)#
interface port1.0.1
Enter the Interface Configuration mode to
configure port 1.0.1.
awplus(config-if)#
channel-group 1 mode active
Add this interface to a channel group 1 and
enable link aggregation so that it may be
selected for aggregation by the local system.
awplus(config-if)#
exit
Exit the Interface Configuration mode and
return to the Global Configure mode.
awplus(config)#
interface port1.0.2
Enter the Interface Configuration mode to
configure port 1.0.2.
awplus(config-if)#
channel-group 1 mode active
Add this interface to a channel group 1 and
enable link aggregation so that it may be
selected for aggregation by the local system.
