This command enables the specified trigger to send SNMP traps.

Use the no variant of this command to disable the sending of SNMP traps from the
specified trigger.

Syntax

trap

no trap

Default

SNMP traps are enabled by default for all defined triggers.

Usage

You must configure SNMP before using traps with triggers. See the following SNMP
chapters:

Chapter 67, SNMP Introduction
Chapter 68, SNMP Commands
Chapter 69, SNMP MIBs

Since SNMP traps are enabled by default for all defined triggers, a common usage will be
for the no variant of this command to disable SNMP traps from a specified trap if the trap is
only periodic. Refer in particular to

AT-TRIGGER-MIB

for further information about the

relevant SNMP MIB.
