ip dhcp snooping trust
Use this command to set the ports to be DHCP snooping trusted ports.
Use the no variant of this command to return the ports to their default as untrusted ports.
Syntax
ip dhcp snooping trust
no ip dhcp snooping trust
Default
All ports are untrusted by default.
Mode
Interface Configuration (port)
Usage
Typically, ports connecting the switch to trusted elements in the network (towards the
core) are set as trusted ports, while ports connecting untrusted network elements are set
as untrusted. Configure ports connected to DHCP servers as trusted ports.
Example
To set switch ports 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 to be trusted ports, use the commands:
