Profile Config Commands

Enables message logging and configures logging settings

Supported in the following platforms:

Access Points — Brocade Mobility 650 Access Point, Brocade Mobility 6511 Access Point,
Brocade Mobility 1220 Access Point, Brocade Mobility 71XX Access Point, Brocade
Mobility 1240 Access Point

Wireless Controllers — Brocade Mobility RFS4000, Brocade Mobility RFS6000, Brocade

Syntax:

logging [aggregation-time|buffered|console|facility|forward|host|on|syslog]

logging [aggregation-time <1-60>|host |on]

logging [buffered|console|syslog|forward]

[<0-7>|emergencies|alerts|critical|errors|

warnings|notifications|informational|debugging]

logging facility [local0|local1|local2|local3|local4|local5|local6|local7]

Parameters

logging [aggregation-time <1-60>|host |on]

logging [buffered|console|syslog|forward] [<0-7>|emergencies|alerts|critical|

errors|warnings|notifications|informational|debugging]

aggregation-time
<1-60>

Sets the number of seconds for aggregating repeated messages

<1-60> – Specify a value from 1 - 60 seconds.

host

Configures a remote host to receive log messages. Defines numerical (non DNS) IP addresses for external
resources where logged system events can be sent on behalf of the controller profile.

– Specify the IP address of the remote host.

on

Enables the logging of system messages

buffered

Sets the buffered logging level

console

Sets the console logging level

syslog

Sets the syslog server’s logging level

forward

Forwards system debug messages to the wireless controller or service platform
