Default reports
The Management application web client provides default reports for both SAN and IP products.
Presenting and archiving data about a network is equally as important as gathering the data.
Through the web client, you can generate reports about the network. You can send the reports to
network administrators, support consultants, and others interested in the network’s architecture,
or archive the reports for future reference.
The following standard report types are available from the web client:

Fabric Port — Lists information about discovered ports including used and unused ports. Port
data for each fabric is divided into three parts: Fabric-wide port details, Switch-wide port
details, and individual port details. For detailed information about this report, refer to

Fabric Summary — Lists information about discovered fabrics including fabric and switch
details, device information, and ISL and trunk summary. For detailed information about this
report, refer to

Switch — Lists information about a discovered switch, ports on the switch, and devices
connected to the switch. For detailed information about this report, refer to
“Switch Report”

page 355.

Zone Summary — Lists zoning objects for the current zone DB in the fabric. For detailed
information about this report, refer to

on page 357.

Host Adapter Inventory — Lists information about discovered hosts. For detailed information
about this report, refer to

•
Host Adapter with Unsupported and Faulty SFP — Lists information about unsupported and
faulty SFPs on discovered adapters. For detailed information about this report, refer to
Adapter with Unsupported and Faulty SFP reports”
Fabric Summary report
The Fabric Summary report provides a summary of the discovered fabrics, switches and Access
Gateway (AG) devices associated with the fabric as well as ISL and trunk details.

Fabric Name
The name of the fabric.
Switch Assigned Fabric Name
The switch assigned fabric name.
Seed Switch WWN
The world wide name of the seed switch.
Seed Switch IP Address
The IP address of the seed switch.
Switch Count
The number of switches in the fabric.
Fabric Port Count
The number of physical ports in the fabric.
Unlicensed Fabric Port Count
The number of unlicensed ports in the fabric.
AG Count
The number of AG devices in the fabric.
