Port Type — Displays the type of port, for example, U_port.
•
Port WWN — Displays the port’s world wide name.
•
Protocol — Displays the network protocol, for example, Fibre Channel.
•
Long Distance Settings — Displays whether the connection is considered to be normal or
longer distance.
•
Forward Error Correction(FEC) — Displays whether FEC is enabled or disabled.
•
Encryption — Displays whether encryption is enabled or disabled.
•
Compression — Displays whether compression is enabled or disabled.
•
NPIV Enabled — Displays whether the port is NPIV enabled or not.
•
Connected Switch — Displays the name of the connected switch.
•
Attached Port# — Displays the port number of the attached product.
•
Calculated Status — Displays the calculated operational status.
•
Zone Alias — Displays the zone alias of the port.
For GigE port properties, the Details area displays the following data for the selected port.
•
Speed (Gb/s) — Displays the port speed, in Gbits per second.
•
LAG ID — Displays the link aggregation group identifier.
•
L2 Mode — Displays the Layer 2 mode. Options include Access, Converged, or Trunk.
•
Routing Policy — Displays the routing policy configured on the switch.
•
VLAN ID — Displays the VLAN identification number.
•
IPSEC Supported — Displays the IPSec policy number.
For Ironware port properties, the Highlights area displays the following data for the selected
port.
•
Identifier — Displays the identifier of the port.
•
Name — Displays the name of the port.
•
MAC Address — Displays the MAC address of the port.
•
Port Status — Displays the status of the port.
•
Port State — Displays the state of the port.
The Details area displays the following data for the selected port.
•
Type — Displays the type of port.
•
Speed (Gb/s) — Displays the port speed, in Gbits per second.
•
L2/Tag Mode — Displays whether the port is tagged or untagged.
•
Untagged VLAN ID — Displays the untagged VLAN identifier of the port.
•
Duplex Mode — Displays the duplex mode of the port.
•
Role — Displays the role of the port (such as Fabric, Edge, Stacking, or Peri Port). For MCT
switches, the port role is either ICL or MCT.
