Prerequisites

One of the following:

An Emulex OneConnect UCNA or LightPulse CFA in FCoE+NIC mode

A FC HBA or CFA in FC mode

The appropriate adapter drivers

One of the following:

The Emulex OneCommand Manager (OCM) application for Windows

The OCM for VMware vCenter Software plug–in
See the VMware download page on the Emulex website or the vendor to verify the
driver version or the OCM application version that must be installed on your system.
VMware
Use one of the standard esxcli commands to install the vib/offline-bundle.
Installing the vib

To install the vib, type the following command:
esxcli software vib install -v --maintenance-mode

To install the signed offline bundle, type the following command:
esxcli software vib install -d --maintenance-mode

If you are using a zipped file and have already unzipped it, type the following
command:
esxcli software vib install
--viburl= --maintenance-mode

To install the unsigned vib, use the --no-sig-check option. For example:
esxcli software vib install
--viburl=file:/vmware-esx-provider-emulex.vib --maintenance-mode
