Display the IPv6 and ICMPv6 statistics for an
IPv6 routing interface

You can display the IPv6 and ICMPv6 statics for an IPv6 routing interface.

To display the IPv6 and ICMPv6 statistics for an IPv6 routing interface:

1. Launch a web browser.

2. In the address field of your web browser, enter the IP address of the switch.

If you do not know the IP address of the switch, see Log in to the main UI with a web
browser
on page 27 and the subsections.

The login page displays.

3. Click the Main UI Login button.

The main UI login page displays in a new tab.

4. Enter admin as the user name, enter your local device password, and click the Login

button.

The first time that you log in, no password is required. However, you then must
specify a local device password to use each subsequent time that you log in.

The System Information page displays.

5. Select Routing > IPv6 > Advanced > Statistics.

The Statistics page displays.

6. From the Interface menu, select the IPv6 routing interface.

7. To refresh the page, click the Refresh button.

The following table describes the view-only fields in the IPv6 Statistics section.

Field

The total number of input datagrams received by the interface, including
those received in error

Total Datagrams Received

The total number of datagrams successfully delivered to IPv6
user-protocols (including ICMP). This counter is incremented at the
interface to which these datagrams were addressed, which might not
be the input interface for some of the datagrams.

Received Datagrams Locally
Delivered

The number of input datagrams discarded due to errors in their IPv6
headers, including version number mismatch, other format errors, hop
count exceeded, errors discovered in processing their IPv6 options, and
so on

Received Datagrams Discarded
Due To Header Errors

The number of input datagrams that could not be forwarded because
their size exceeded the link MTU of outgoing interface
