To transfer SSH keys to the switch:
1. Launch a web browser.
2. In the address field of your web browser, enter the IP address of the switch.
The login page displays.
3. Click the Main UI Login button.
The main UI login page displays in a new tab.
4. Enter admin as the user name, enter your local device password, and click the Login
button.
The first time that you log in, no password is required. However, you then must
specify a local device password to use each subsequent time that you log in.
The System Information page displays.
5. Select Security > Access > SSH > Host Keys Download.
The Host Keys Download page displays.
6. From the File Type menu, select the type of key file to download:
• SSH-2 RSA Key PEM File: SSH-2 Rivest-Shamir-Adelman (RSA) key file (PEM
Encoded)
• SSH-2 DSA Key PEM File: SSH-2 Digital Signature Algorithm (DSA) key file (PEM
Encoded)
7. From the Transfer Mode menu, select the protocol that must be used to transfer
the file:
• TFTP: Trivial File Transfer Protocol
• SFTP: Secure File Transfer Protocol
• SCP: Secure Copy Protocol
8. From the Server Address Type menu, select IPv4, IPv6, or DNS to indicate the
format for the TFTP Server IP field.
The default is IPv4.
9. In the Server IP field, specify the address or host name of the server.
The address can be an IP address in the standard IPv4 or IPv6 address format or a
host name. The host name must start with a letter of the alphabet.
10. In the Remote File Path field, enter the path of the file to download.
You can enter up to 96 characters. The default is blank.
11. In the Remote File Name field, enter the name of the file on the TFTP server to
download.
