7. In the Hold Multiplier field, enter the multiplier for the value that you enter in the

TLV Advertised Interval field, which determines the time-to-live (TTL) for LLDP
notifications.
The range is from 2 to 10 secs. The default value is 4. As an example, if the value
that you enter in the TLV Advertised Interval field is 30 and the value that you enter
in the Hold Multiplier field is 4, the TTL for LLDP notifications is 120 seconds.

8. In the Reinitialization Delay field, enter the delay before reinitialization starts.

The range is from 1 to 10 secs. The default is 2 seconds.

9. In the Notification Interval field, enter the interval in seconds for the transmission

of notifications.
The range is from 5 to 3600 secs. The default is 5 seconds.

10. Click the Apply button.

Your settings are saved.

11. To save the settings to the running configuration, click the Save icon.

Configure LLDP interface settings

You can specify LLDP settings that are applied to one or more interfaces.

To configure LLDP interface settings:

1. Launch a web browser.

2. In the address field of your web browser, enter the IP address of the switch.

The login page displays.

3. Click the Main UI Login button.

The main UI login page displays in a new tab.

4. Enter admin as the user name, enter your local device password, and click the Login

button.
The first time that you log in, no password is required. However, you then must
specify a local device password to use each subsequent time that you log in.

The System Information page displays.

5. Select System > LLDP > Interface Configuration.

The Interface Configuration.page displays.

6. Select one or more interfaces by taking one of the following actions:

To configure a single interface, select the check box associated with the interface,

or type the interface number in the Go To Interface field and click the Go button.
