The first time that you log in, no password is required. However, you then must
specify a local device password to use each subsequent time that you log in.
The System Information page displays.
5. Select Routing> IPv6 > Basic > Global Configuration.
The Global Configuration page displays.
6. Select the IPv6 Unicast Routing Enable or Disable radio button.
This selection enables or disables the administrative mode for IPv6 routing for the
switch. The default is Disable.
7. In the Hop Limit field, enter a value for the unicast hop count that is used for IPv6
packets that originate from the switch.
The hop count is also included in router advertisements, and ranges from 1 to 255,
inclusive. The default is 64.
8. In the ICMPv6 Rate Limit Error Interval field, specify the number of ICMP error
packets that are allowed per burst interval.
By default, the burst interval is 1000 msec (the rate limit is 100 packets/sec). The
interval is from 0 to 2147483647 msec. Enter 0 to let the switch ignore the number
of ICMPv6 error packets that are allowed per burst interval.
9. In the ICMPv6 Rate Limit Burst Size field, specify the number of ICMP error packets
that are allowed for the burst size.
By default, the burst size is 100 packets. The burst size range is from 1 to 200. Enter
0 to let the switch ignore the number of ICMPv6 error packets that are allowed for
the burst size.
10. Click the Apply button.
Your settings are saved.
11. To save the settings to the running configuration, click the Save icon.
Display the IPv6 route table
The IPv6 route table includes all routes, including the best routes and the configured
routes. You can select which routes to display.
To display the IPv6 route table:
1. Launch a web browser.
2. In the address field of your web browser, enter the IP address of the switch.
The login page displays.
