Field
The interface on the switch on which LLDP information is received.
Port
The remote device ID.
Remote Device ID
The advertised management address of the remote device.
Management Address
The MAC address of the remote device.
MAC Address
The system name of the remote device.
System Name
The interface number of the remote device.
Remote Port ID
The Type-Length-Value (TLV) organizationally unique identifier (OUI) of
the remote device.
OUI
The subtype of the TLV OUI of the remote device.

Link Layer Discovery Protocol for Media Endpoint Discovery (LLDP-MED) is an
enhancement to LLDP with support for the following features:

Auto-discovery of LAN policies (such as VLAN, Layer 2 priority, and DiffServ settings),
which allows for plug-and-play networking.
•
Device location discovery, which allows for the creation of location databases.
•
Extended and automated power management of Power over Ethernet endpoints.
•
Inventory management, which lets you track your network devices and determine
their characteristics, such as manufacturer, software and hardware versions, and
serial or asset numbers.

You can specify LLDP-MED settings that are globally applied to the switch.
