The falling utilization threshold must be equal to or less than the rising threshold
value. The falling utilization threshold notification is generated only if a rising
threshold notification was generated previously. Configuring the falling utilization
threshold and time period is optional. If the falling CPU utilization values aare not
configured, they take the same value as the rising CPU utilization values. The range
is a percentage from 1 to 100.

• Falling Interval: Configure the falling interval. YOu can configure the utilization

monitoring time period from 5 seconds to 86400 seconds in multiples of 5 seconds.

• Free Memory Threshold: Configure the CPU free memory threshold value in KB.

7. Click the Apply button.

Your settings are saved.

8. To save the settings to the running configuration, click the Save icon.

View or clear switch statistics

To view or clear the switch statistics:

1. Launch a web browser.

2. In the address field of your web browser, enter the IP address of the switch.

The login page displays.

3. Click the Main UI Login button.

The main UI login page displays in a new tab.

4. Enter admin as the user name, enter your local device password, and click the Login

button.
The first time that you log in, no password is required. However, you then must
specify a local device password to use each subsequent time that you log in.

The System Information page displays.

5. Select System > Management > Switch Statistics.

The Switch Statistics page displays.

6. To clear all the counters, resetting all switch summary and detailed statistics to default

values, click the Clear button.
The discarded packets count cannot be cleared.

7. To save the settings to the running configuration, click the Save icon.
