The Interlaken PCS supports the following framing functions on a per lane basis:
• Gearbox
• Block synchronization
• Metaframe generation and synchronizatio
• 64b/67b encoding and decoding
• Scrambling and descrambling
• Lane-based CRC32
• Disparity DC balancing
