Opening a Catalog Browser
Catalogs are displayed in the Workspace
browser.
To open a Catalog browser:
1 Open the Workspace browser.
2 Click the Catalogs Expand/Collapse icon.
3 Do one of the following:
• Click the Expand/Collapse icon for the Cat-
alog to view its contents in the Workspace.
– or –
• Double-click the Catalog name to open it
in its own browser window.
Clip Names in Catalogs
Clip Names are the names that appear in the
Timeline and Region List when a file is imported
into a session.
For most files, the Clip name is the same as the
file name. For OMF Files, the Clip Name is the
name that appears in the Avid bin.
