Sets the incoming banner message.
Synopsis
banner incoming message

The message string to be displayed on the switch console.

Command Modes
Global configuration mode
Description
Use this command to create the incoming banner. A banner is a text message that displays on the
console. The banner can include information about the switch for a user to know when accessing
the switch.
Usage Guidelines
The banner must be from 1 through 2048 characters in length. The banner can appear on multiple
lines if you enter multiline mode using ESC+M and using CTRL+D to exit.
