Creates an N_Port group in Access Gateway mode.

Synopsis

pg pgid

no pg pgid

Operands

pgid

Port group identifier.

Defaults

None

Command Modes

Access Gateway (AG) configuration

Description

Use this command to configure a port group with a unique ID (pgid). Once configured, you can
access the port group in Port Grouping configuration mode to perform configuration tasks, such as
adding and removing N_Ports, enabling port group modes, and renaming the group.

Usage Guidelines

You must be in Access Gateway (AG) mode to use this command. The pgid cannot exceed 64
characters.

Examples

The following command creates port group 1 and enables Port Grouping configuration mode for
the port group.

sw0(config-rbridge-id-3-ag)# pg 1

sw0(config-rbridge-id-3-ag-pg-1)#

The following command removes port group 1.

sw0(config-rbridge-id-3-ag)# no pg 1
