clear spanning-tree counter

Clears all spanning-tree counters on the interface.

Synopsis

clear spanning-tree counter [interface | port-channel number |
fortygigabitethernet rbridge-id/slot/port | tengigabitethernet rbridge-id/slot/port |
gigabitethernet rbridge-id/slot/port]

Operands

interface

Specifies the interface on which to clear the spanning-tree counters.

port-channel number Specifies the interface is a port-channel. The number of available channels

range from 1 through 63 for standalone mode, and from 1 through 6144
for Brocade VCS Fabric mode. However, the channel can be assigned any
number from 1 through 6144.

fortygigabitethernet rbridge-id/slot/port

Specifies a valid 40-gigabit Ethernet interface.

slot

Specifies a valid slot number.

port

Specifies a valid port number.

tengigabitethernet rbridge-id/slot/port

Specifies a valid 10-gigabit Ethernet interface.

slot

Specifies a valid slot number.

port

Specifies a valid port number.

gigabitethernet rbridge-id/slot/port

Specifies a valid 1-gigabit Ethernet interface.

slot

Specifies a valid slot number.

port

Specifies a valid port number.

Command Modes

Privileged EXEC mode

Description

Use this command to clear the spanning-tree counters on the interface.

Usage Guidelines

If the interface parameter is not specified, spanning-tree counters are cleared for all interfaces.

If xSTP is enabled over VCS, this command must be executed on all RBridge nodes.

Examples

To clear spanning-tree counters for all interfaces:

switch# clear spanning-tree counter

To clear spanning-tree counters for a 10-gigabit Ethernet interface:

switch# clear spanning-tree counter interface tengigabitethernet 0/1

To clear spanning-tree counters for port-channel 23:

switch# clear spanning-tree counter interface port-channel 23
