Enables 802.1X authentication globally.
Synopsis
dot1x enable
no dot1x enable
Operands
None
Defaults
Authentication is disabled globally.
Command Modes
Global configuration mode
Description
Use this command to globally enable 802.1X authentication.
Usage Guidelines
Enter no dot1x enable to disable 802.1X authentication globally.
Examples
To enable 802.1X authentication globally:
switch(config)# dot1x enable
