To delete specific markers in a clip in the Browser
1
Click the disclosure triangle next to a clip containing markers.

Select the markers you want to delete.

Do one of the following:
• Choose Edit > Clear.
• Press Delete.
To delete specific markers in a sequence

In the Canvas or Timeline, move the playhead to the sequence marker you want to delete.
Note: Make sure no items are selected in the Timeline.

Do one of the following:
• Choose Mark > Markers > Delete, or press Command–Grave Accent (`).
• In the Canvas, Option-click the Add Marker button.
• Press M or the Grave Accent (`) key to open the Edit Marker dialog, then click Delete.
To delete all markers in a sequence

Make the Canvas or Timeline active.
Note: Make sure no items are selected in the Timeline.

Choose Mark > Markers > Delete All, or press Control–Grave Accent (`).
To keep a marker but remove chapter, compression, or scoring annotations

Do one of the following to open the Edit Marker dialog for the marker:
• Hold down the Command key and double-click the marker.
This function is available in the Viewer, Canvas, and Timeline ruler only.
• In the Viewer, Canvas, or Timeline, move the playhead to the marker and press M or
the Accent key (`).

In the Comment field, delete the appropriate marker annotation text, then click OK.
• To remove a chapter marker: Delete the text
• To remove a compression marker: Delete the text
• To remove a scoring marker: Delete the text
