This FB provides the "Virtual master" function for the "Electronic gearbox" application.

Selection of an external master speed, e.g. from an encoder.
• At this input, the FB expects a speed in [rpm]. The machine parameters at the in-
put AxisData are used as speed reference.
• C05118 indicates the external master speed in the real unit of the machine.

• This input has the highest priority.
FALSE The input dnExtMaster_s is connected through 1:1 to output
dnSpeedOut_s. No ramps are active.
TRUE Master shaft dnSpeedOut_s is braked to standstill via the ramp func-
tion or follows the function selected.
TRUEFALSE Master shaft dnSpeedOut_s travels via the ramp for continuous ope-
ration with master speed dnExtMaster_s.

Control - continuous operation/production process
• Only possible for the "continuous operation" mode set in C05100.
TRUE Continuous operation is started, master shaft dnSpeedOut_s travels
with setpoint speed.
TRUEFALSE Continuous operation is stopped, master shaft dnSpeedOut_s is bra-
ked to standstill via ramp for continuous operation.
