This FB provides the "Virtual master" function for the "Synchronism" application.

Selection of an external master position in [inc]
• E.g. through an absolute value encoder.
• The master position must be inside the cycle.
• C05028 indicates the external master position in the real unit of the machine.

Activate master function
• This input has the highest priority.
FALSE The input dnExtMaster_p connected 1:1 to the output dnPosOut_p.
No ramps are active.
TRUE Ramps are activated.
TRUEFALSE Master shaft dnPosOut_p travels via the ramp for permanent
operation with master speed to the external master position
dnExtMaster_p.
• Only a fixed master position can be approached.
• If the master position changes, bit 29 of the status signal dnState
will be set.

Control - continuous operation/production process
• Only possible when:
• C05010 = "0: Continuous operation" or
• C05010 = "3: Enable speed and mode by process data" and
dwOperatingMode = "0" (continuous operation). In this case, the speed is
selected via the dnSpeedSet_s input.
TRUE Continuous operation is started, master shaft dnPosOut_p travels
continuously.
TRUEFALSE Continuous operation is stopped, master shaft dnPosOut_p travels
to the stop position set in C05011.
