Functions

Handwheel function

• Ensures an easy control of a machine run. The clutched drives are interconnected in a system.
• Incremental encoders via DFIN or multiple encoder input. An input must be selected.
• No ramp functions are active.
• Function is enabled via the control (PLC) by selecting the "handwheel function" operating mode

(C05010 ="2") and setting bEnable to TRUE.

Manual jog (inching)

• Operation per HMI or keys via control (PLC). The locking is done in the PLC.
• Ramp functions are active.
• Parameters are defined once or changed via HMI.

Single cycle

• Operation per HMI or keys via control (PLC)
• Function starts with a FALSETRUE edge at the bCycle input.
• Ramp functions are active.
• The data for production speed are used as parameters.
• The cycle starts at the current position and stops at the stop position (C05011).

Continuous operation

• Operation per HMI or keys via control (PLC)
• Function starts with a FALSETRUE edge at the bContinuous input. The function remains active

as long as the TRUE level is applied.

• Ramp functions are active.
• The data for production speed are used as parameters.
• The cycle starts at the current position and stops at the stop position (C05011).

Synchronise virtual master to the external master

• The virtual master is synchronised to an external position selection. Thus, the downstream

system can be separated from the external master any time.

• Application: Modular machines: The external position is delivered by

• MotionBus (Slave)
• DFIN/multiple encoder input/FB L_LdSetXAxisVelocity (relative synchronism)
• Fieldbus as real encoder (must be limited to the cycle set).

• The function is activated by setting bEnable to TRUE.
