Feed constant
The feed constant corresponds to the motion of the machine at one revolution of the
gearbox output shaft.

The input in the Feed constant field (
) is made in the unit defined in
regarding one revolution.

In case of a conveyor drive the feed constant results from the circumference of the drive
roll which is calculated in the following example based on the diameter given:

In case of a spindle drive (linear axis) the speed constant results from the leadscrew
pitch. The feed constant indicates which way the slide travels at one revolution of the
spindle (in the following example 5.023 mm).

In case of a rotary table and defined as an angle the feed constant is = 360°.
