8.4 Basic settings
8.4.1 Machine parameters
The motor end, among other things, is described by the machine parameters indicated below in
respect of the mechanics used.
For TA "Table positioning" , you can set the machine parameters in the »Engineer» on the tab headed
Application Parameters on the dialog level Overview  Machine parameters:


You are provided with more detailed information on the machine parameters "
Gearbox
ratio " and " Feed constant " in the following subchapters.

Note!
Setting the machine parameters is a basic prerequisite for the operating modes
" Homing ", " Manual jog " and " Positioning ".
The more precisely the machine parameters are set, the better the results of positioning!
