18.2.12.2 Activate/exit remote control
For operating the controller using the remote control, observe the following steps for dial-up access:
1. Press the "ON" key on the remote control.
2. Enter the in-dialing number displayed on the 7-segment display via the keys of the remote
control within 3 seconds.
After dialing-in successfully, the 7-segment display indicates "rc" ("remote control") and the
respective key pressed in each case:
• If an error exists when remote control is activated, the display changes between "rc [key]" and
the error code every 500 ms. If several errors exist, the active status determining error is
displayed and all further errors will only be entered into the logbook.
Tip!
• When the remote control is activated, the F4 key of the remote control serves to browse
the status values S1 ... S5 in ascending order. After the status value S5, it starts anew
with the "rc [key]" display.
• In the Lenze setting, the four-digit in-dialing number is a number derived from the
device serial number. If several devices are installed close to each other, this ensures an
operation of only one device. The preset in-dialing number can be chanced in
and then saved in the memory module.
Exit remote control of the controller
When pressing the "OFF" key on the remote control, you exit the control via remote control.
