Click the View Topology icon for the location view.
The location view topology page appears, displaying all sub-location views, fit APs and fat APs.

4.

From the shortcut menu, right-click on a blank area, and select Show iNode Clients.
The Show iNode Clients Configuration dialog box appears.

5.

Enter client name or MAC address to query the iNode clients to be located, and select the
clients you want to locate.

6.

Click OK.

Tracking an iNode client

You can display the location of an iNode client on the location view topology in real time.
To track an iNode client:

1.

Locate the iNode client to the location view topology.

Locating iNode clients

."

2.

From the shortcut menu, right-click the iNode client icon, and select Track to track the iNode
client.
The color of the iNode client icon changes to blue.
WSM displays the locations of the client in real time on the topology.

Managing client historical tracks

This function displays the locations where the located iNode clients stayed in a list or on the location
view topology. You can demonstrate dynamically the location changes of an iNode client on the

location view topology.

Viewing the client historical track list

1.

Click the Service tab.

2.

From the navigation tree, select WLAN Manager > Locating Management.
The Locating Management page appears.

3.

In the Wireless Locating Based on iNode Sampling Points area, click the Client Historical Track
link.
The Client Historical Track page appears, displaying all locations the located iNode clients
have stayed.
Client Historical Track list contents

{

MAC Address—MAC address of the iNode client.

{

Username—Name of the access user. The user name configured in IMC can be different
from the account name.

{

Account Name—Account name of the concerned user.

{

Location—Name of the location view containing the AP with which the iNode client is
associated.

{

Location Update Time—Time when the iNode client leaves the location.
