Bandwidth Mode—Select the bandwidth mode. Options are 20MHz and 40MHz.
This option is available only for the radio types 802.11an and 802.11gn.

Antenna—Select an antenna.

Angle—Enter an antenna angle, in the range 0 to 359. Click Refresh to view the signal
coverage area of the virtual AP.

Click OK.
Deleting a virtual AP
1.
Right-click the virtual AP to be deleted, and from the shortcut menu, select Delete Device from
this Location.
A confirmation dialog box appears.
2.
Click OK.
Deleting all virtual APs
1.
Right-click on a blank area, and from the shortcut menu, select Delete All Virtual APs.
A confirmation dialog box appears.
2.
Click OK.
You can perform automatic network planning only after all virtual APs are deleted in the location view.
Generating a network planning report
A network planning report can be generated for survey after you finish automatic network planning
and signal cover simulation tests. The network planning report is an HTML file that contains numbers
and description for selected APs and antennas, an AP deployment map, and signal coverage
prediction heat maps.
To generate a network planning report:
1.
On the toolbar at the top of the topology page, click the Pointer icon to exit auto plan region
mode after you enable automatic network planning.
2.
Right-click on a blank area, and from the shortcut menu, select Generate Network Planning
Report.
3.
In the window that appears, select the directory in which to save the report, enter the report
name, and click OK.
