Encryption mode

Security information

None

No security parameters are needed.

Static WEP

Key Length—Select a key length from the list. Options are 64 bits and
128 bits.

Key Type—Select a key type from the list. Options are ASCII and

HEX.

Key Index—Select a key index from the list. Options are 1, 2, 3, and

4.

Key—Enter a key value. For a 64-bit key, enter a string of five

alphanumeric characters or a 10-digit hexadecimal number. For a

128-bit key, enter a string of 13 alphanumeric characters or a 26-digit

hexadecimal number.

Dynamic WEP

RADIUS Accounting—Enter the accounting profile name configured
on the RADIUS server.

Address (Primary RADIUS Server)—Enter the IP address or domain

name of the primary RADIUS server.

Port—Enter the port for authentication of the RADIUS server.

Secret—Enter the password used for communication between the AC
and the RADIUS server.

Retry Interval (s)—Enter the retry interval after the communication

between the AC and RADIUS server times out.

Retry Timeout (s)—Enable or disable setting the retry timeout for the

communication between the AC and RADIUS server. Enter the retry

timeout in the box if you enable the function. For example, if you
select Retry Timeout(s) and enter 10 in the box, the communication

between the AC and the RADIUS server times out if the RADIUS does

not respond within 10 seconds. If you disable this option, the AC
determines whether the communication times out according to the

default response timeout on the RADIUS server.

Secondary RADIUS Server—Enable or disable the secondary RADIUS
server. If you enable the server, set the Address (Secondary RADIUS

Server) and Secret options for the server.

Address (Secondary RADIUS Server)—Enter the IP address or domain
name of the secondary RADIUS server.

Secret—Enter the password used for communication between the AC

and the secondary RADIUS server.

WPA Pre-Shared Key

Version—Select a WPA version from the list. Options are WPA,
WPA2, and WPA or WPA2.

Cipher—Select an encryption mode from the list. Options are TKIP,

CCMP (AES), and TKIP + CCMP (AES).

Key Type—This field is always ASCII and cannot be modified.

Pre-Shared Key—Enter the preshared key.
