External Memory Devices
This chapter describes the specifications, functions, and notes to observe when using external memory devices with
the MICRO/I.
1.1 Supported Memory Cards
The supported memory cards is different for each MICRO/I model.
1.2 CF Card

CF Card Functions
The following functions are available when a CF card is inserted in the MICRO/I.
• Transfer projects

Specifications
Models HG2F/3F/4F support CF cards with the following specifications:
• Capacity 16 MB, 32 MB, 64 MB, 128 MB, 256 MB, 512 MB.
• Compatible with FAT16 or FAT32 formatting.
• Shift JIS support.
Half-width kana characters are not supported for file and directory names. Full-width kana characters are
supported.
