Another shortcut has a better metric than the LSP tunnel.
Configuration notes
Consider the following configuration notes:
•
IS-IS shortcuts require MPLS and IS-IS Traffic Engineering (TE) to be enabled.
•
IS-IS does not use an LSP tunnel as a shortcut when the To address of the tunnel is not the
router ID of the destination router.
•
Where multiple IS-IS shortcuts have the same cost, IS-IS installs LSP tunnel-based ECMP
routes.
