To display detailed information about the configurations of the VLLs on the device, use the show
mpls vll detail command.
Syntax show mpls vll detail

Interface sub-configuration mode.
Usage guidelines Using the show mpls vll detail command displays information about the operation state of the VPLS
instance in regard to the local endpoints.

output
Output field Description
End-point How packets are forwarded once they reach the egress LER. This can be one of the following:
•
untagged portnum - Forwards the packet out the specified port as untagged.
•
tagged VLAN vlan_id /portnum - Tags the packet with the specified VLAN ID and
forwards the packet out the specified port.
•
tagged VLAN vlan-id inner-vlan vlan-id – Tags the packet with the specified outer and
inner VLAN IDs and forwards the packet out the specified port.
•
undefined - An endpoint has not been configured for this VLL.
End-point state Option: Up or down.
Local VC type A new option is added to allow the user to select “raw-pass-through mode” which behaves
like “tagged-mode” when the endpoint is configured as tagged endpoint or “raw-mode”
when the endpoint is configured as untagged endpoint.
Indicates whether the remote VC is in raw-mode, tagged-mode, or raw-pass-through-mode.
Local VC MTU The MTU value configured for this local VC.
Extended counters Indicates whether or not the extended counters are enabled for the configured VLL.
Counter Indicates whether or not the counter is enabled or disabled.
VLL-peer The remote PE router. This is the same as the LSP destination for the LSPs that the VLL is
transported over.
State The current state of the VLL. This can be either UP or DOWN. Data can be forwarded over the
VLL only when the state is UP.
Remote VC type A new option. Indicates whether the remote VC is in raw-mode, tagged-mode, or
raw-pass-through-mode.
Local label The VC label value locally allocated for this VLL. Packets forwarded from the VLL peer to this
device are expected to contain this label. This is the label advertised to the VLL peer through
LDP.
Local group-id The VLL group-ID (defined in draft-martini-l2circuit-trans-mpls-07.txt) advertised to the VLL
peer through LDP. In this release, it is always zero.
Tunnel LSP The name, as well as internal tunnel index number, of the tunnel LSP selected for the VLL.
