Session Acceleration
NOTE:
Only the SecPath F5000-A5 supports this feature.
Session Acceleration Overview
In some specific applications, session acceleration helps improve system performance for setting up
sessions. Note that if the outbound interface of the session initiator is not the same as the inbound
interface of the session responder, and the service configurations on the two interfaces are not the same,
session acceleration is not available.
Configuring Session Acceleration
After logging in to the Web interface, select Firewall > Session Table > Advanced from the
navigation tree, and then click the Session Acceleration tab to enter the session acceleration
configuration page, as shown in
Figure 17 .
