Task Description
Configuring HWTACACS Server
Authentication server and authorization server are mandatory
and accounting server is optional.
This section describes how to specify the primary and the
secondary HWTACACS
authentication/authorization/accounting servers.
By default, no server is specified.
IMPORTANT:
It is recommended to specify only the primary HWTACACS
authentication server if backup is not required.
Configuring HWTACACS Parameters

This section describes how to configure the parameters that are
necessary for information exchange between the device and
HWTACACS server.
Creating a HWTACACS Scheme
When the HWTACACS scheme named system does not exist, select User > HWTACACS > Server
Configuration or User > HWTACACS > Parameter Configuration from the navigation tree,
and the page similar to
Figure 2 appears, asking you to create a HWTACACS scheme first.
Click Add to create a HWTACACS scheme named system.

Configuring HWTACACS Server
When the HWTACACS scheme system exists, select User > HWTACACS > Server Configuration
from the navigation tree to enter the HWTACACS server configuration page, as shown in
Figure 3 .
