Configuration Guidelines
1.
OSPF multiprocess is not supported on the Web interface. Enabling OSPF creates process 1, and
disabling OSPF removes process 1.
2.
After OSPF is enabled, the router ID for route management is used.
3.
The OSPF interface list displays all interfaces enabled with OSPF.
4.
To configure OSPF packet authentication in and area, you need to configure the same
authentication mode (non-authentication, simple authentication or MD5 authentication) on all the
routers of the area. The authentication mode and password for interfaces attached to a network
segment must be identical. In the Web interface configuration, the authentication mode of the
interface firstly configured with authentication information is taken as the authentication mode of
the area.
