The X509 Certificate Management Menu is shown in Figure 162
on page 510.
5. From the X509 Certificate Management menu, type 2 to select Add
Certificate.
The Add Certificate Menu is shown in Figure 164.

6. Type 1 - Certificate Name to type in the name of a certificate.
This is the name that appears in the certificate database list. You
can enter up to 40 alphanumeric characters.
7. Type 2 - State to specify if a certificate is trusted or untrusted.
Trusted - This value indicates you have verified that the certificate
is from a trusted CA. This is the default.
Untrusted - This value indicates the certificate is from an
untrusted CA either because you have not verified the CA or you
have verified the CA is untrusted.
8. Type 3 to specify the type of certificate. There are 3 types to choose
from:
EE - Indicates the certificate was issued by a CA, such as VeriSign.
This is the default.
CA - Indicates the certificate belongs to a CA.
Self - This value is a self-signed certificate. Use this value when
you are creating a self-signed certificate. The switch treats this
type of certificate as its own.
9. Type 4 - File Name to specify the filename of the certificate.
