Uploading a File Using TFTP
To upload a file using TFTP, perform the following procedure:
1. To begin:
a. If you are using a Telnet management session, the following
prompt is already displayed from step 4 in the procedure that
begins on page 194:
Only TFTP downloads are available for a Telnet
access.
TFTP server IP address:
b. If you are using a local management session, type T at the prompt
displayed in step 4 in the procedure that begins on page 194:
The following prompt is displayed:
TFTP Server IP address:
2. Enter the IP address of the TFTP server.
The following prompt is displayed:
Remote File Name:
3. Enter the remote file name.
This will be the name of the of the file on the TFTP server after you
complete the upload process.
Note
The file you are uploading must be stored in the upload directory of
the TFTP server.
If the file name format is correct, the following prompt is
displayed:
Local file name:
4. Enter a name for the file to be uploaded from the switch.
