Address Table Commands
In this chapter
These commands are used to configure the address table for filtering specified addresses,
displaying current entries, clearing the table, or setting the aging time.
mac-address-table aging-time
This command sets the aging time for entries in the address table. Use the no form to restore the
default aging time.
Syntax
mac-address-table aging-time seconds
no mac-address-table aging-time
seconds - Aging time. (Range: 10-844 seconds; 0 to disable aging)
Default Setting
300 seconds

The aging time is used to age out dynamically learned forwarding information.
