Time
The system clock can be dynamically set by polling a set of specified time servers (NTP or SNTP).
Maintaining an accurate time on the switch enables the system log to record meaningful dates and
times for event entries. If the clock is not set, the switch will only record the time from the factory
default set at the last bootup.
SNTP Commands
sntp client
This command enables SNTP client requests for time synchronization from NTP or SNTP time
servers specified with the
command. Use the no form to disable SNTP client requests.
