Related Commands
sntp server
This command sets the IP address of the servers to which SNTP time requests are issued. Use the
this command with no arguments to clear all time servers from the current list. Use the no form to
clear all time servers from the current list, or to clear a specific server.
Syntax
sntp server [ip1 [ip2 [ip3]]]
no sntp server [ip1 [ip2 [ip3]]]
ip - IP address of an time server (NTP or SNTP). (Range: 1 - 3 addresses)

Command Usage
This command specifies time servers from which the switch will poll for time updates when set to
SNTP client mode. The client will poll the time servers in the order specified until a response is
received. It issues time synchronization requests based on the interval set via the
command.
Example
Console(config)#sntp server 10.1.0.19

show sntp
This command displays the current time and configuration settings for the SNTP client, and
indicates whether or not the local time has been properly updated.

This command displays the current time, the poll interval used for sending time synchronization
requests, and the current SNTP mode (i.e., unicast).
