Flow Sampling Commands
Command Usage
When forwarding is enabled by this command, the sFlow agent sets the sampling interval,
receiver’s name, destination address and UDP port, maximum header size, and maximum
datagram size; and then starts forwarding samples.
Example
Console(config)interface ethernet 1/1
Console(config-if)#sflow forwarding

sflow max-datagram-size
This command configures the maximum size of the sFlow datagram payload. Use the no form to
restore the default setting.
Syntax
sflow max-datagram-size max-datagram-size
no max-datagram-size
max-datagram-size - The maximum size of the sFlow datagram payload.
(Range: 200-1500 bytes)
Default Setting
1400 bytes

sflow max-header-size
This command configures the maximum size of the sFlow datagram header. Use the no form to
restore the default setting.

no max-header-size
max-header-size - The maximum size of the sFlow datagram header.
(Range: 64-256 bytes)

128 bytes
