Performing a search within the script
To perform a search in the script:
1.
Click the S
EARCH
button
in the Script Editor window. This displays the F
IND
dialog
box.

Enter the item to find in the W
HAT
field.
3.
Customize the search by doing the following:
• Select the M
ATCH
WHOLE
WORD
ONLY
check box to match only a complete
word. For example, if you enter W
IDTH
and select this check box you will not
find W
IDTHS
. Keep the check box deselected to broaden the search.
• Select the M
ATCH
CASE
check box to find matching items that also have
identical casing. For example, if you enter WIDTH and select this check box,
you will not find W
IDTH
or
WIDTH
.
• Select the R
EGULAR
EXPRESSION
check box to search using a regular
expression. Supports standard GNU regular expressions.
• Select the U
P
or D
OWN
radio button to specify whether you would like the
search performed forwards or backwards through the script from the cursor’s
current location.
4.
Click the F
IND
button to locate the next match.
Or,
Click the M
ARK
A
LL
button to place an arrowhead mark beside all matches.
Or,
Click the C
LOSE
button to close the dialog box without performing the search.
