Message area: Search status and asset information
When you perform a search, the search’s progress and a summary of its outcome (number
of results found) is displayed in the message area located above the Results area.
Possible status messages include:
• “Searching... Please wait...”
• “Populating tree view... Please wait...”
• “Populating proxy view... Please wait...”
• “There are no results to display.”
• “# Match(es) found.”
Selecting an asset from the Results area displays information about the asset in the
message area (figure
16-6 ). The asset information that is displayed is intended to
supplement the information already provided in the results area and help you to identify and
evaluate the assets found through the search. The information provided depends on the
type of asset that is selected and the view mode that is active in the Results area.
