Appendix C - Xstudio properties
FrameColor
[FrameColor]
•
Applies to: Text2D objects.
•
Description: Sets the color of the object’s frame, which is a
background that appears directly behind the characters of the
Text2D object.
Note that when the
FrameMaterialType
property is set to
G
RADIENT
, an additional FrameColor property appears in the
object’s Properties Browser.
•
Accepted values: Click in the property’s text box and then click the
button to display the C

FrameGradient

Applies to: Text2D objects, when the

Description: Sets the type (direction) of gradient used to draw the
frame, which is a background that appears directly behind the
characters of the Text2D object.

Accepted values: Select from the drop-down list: V

Description: Sets the type of material used to draw the frame.

[FrameOpacity]

Applies to: Text2D objects.
•
Description: Sets the opacity (transparent versus opaque) of the
frame behind the text characters in the Text2D object.
This property does not affect the opacity of the character face or
edges (see
“FaceOpacity” on page 15-20
and
“EdgeOpacity” on
page 15-18
).
•
Accepted values: Enter 0 for opaque or completely transparent; a
value of 1 for completely opaque; or a value greater than 0, but
less than 1 for various grades of translucency.
FrameShape
[FrameShape]
•
Applies to: Text2D objects.
•
Description: Determines the shape of the frame. Effects display
only on the output device.
•
Accepted values: Select from the drop-down list: R
