Adding logic to control objects
Set Property
Adding this action to an event allows you to set any property not covered in any of the other
actions. For example, you could set the alignment of an object.
Set the following Action Parameters:
Target
This parameter identifies the object on the control-side that will affected by
the new property.
To set this parameter:
1.
Select the parameter’s field and click the button to
open the T

/S
OURCE
S
ELECTOR
dialog box.
2.
Select the C
ONTROL
category in the left panel of the
T
ARGET
/S
OURCE
S
ELECTOR
. A list of the control-side
objects now appears in the right panel of the
Target/Source Selector.
3.
Double-click the object that will be affected by the new
property. It is added to the upper text box prefixed by
“Control:”.
4.
Click OK and the T
ARGET
parameter is set.
Property
Enter the property name, which are displayed in square brackets in the help
area at the bottom of the Property Browser when you click on a property in
the browser. The bracketed names are also listed in the following section:
“Control object properties” on page 15-2
Value
Enter the property value.
