Linking objects to a data source
To apply a lookup table to text coming from somewhere other than a data source
(using the above example):
1.
Select the button and display the A CTION E DITOR (CTRL + E).
For full details see the Action Editor on page 10-1 .
2. In the Action Editor, select the O N C LICK event.
3. Select the S ET T EXT action.
4. In the Action Parameters section, click in the S OURCE field and then click . This
displays the Expression Builder.

5. Click the C LEAR button to delete C ONTROL :B UTTON 1 from the field at the top of the
Expression Builder.
6. From the pane at left, select F UNCTION . This displays a list of functions at right.
7. From the list of functions, double-click LOOKUP. This displays the function in the field
at the top of the Expression Builder.

8. In the field at the top of the Expression Builder, select < STRING >.
9. From the pane at left, select C ONTROL . This displays a list of the control-side contents.
