Appendix D - Search tool
Opening the Search tool
The Search tool conveniently opens in an overlaid window, so that you can easily open or
drag-and-drop assets from the Search tool to the canvas at anytime during your Xstudio
session.
To access the search tool and select the search mode:
1.
Open the Search tool window by performing one of the following:
• Click the S
EARCH icon on the Xstudio interface.
Or,
• Select the S
EARCH A SSETS command from the V IEW menu.
2. Select a search mode:
• Select the S
TANDARD tab to perform a standard search using the asset’s basic
properties.
Or,
• Select the A
DVANCED tab to perform an advanced search using the asset’s
metadata properties.
