Appendix C - Xstudio properties

EdgeOpacity

[EdgeOpacity]

Applies to: Text2D objects.

Description: Sets the opacity of the edge that surrounds each
character in the Text2D object. This property does not affect the
opacity of the character’s face (see

“FaceOpacity” on page 15-20

).

Accepted values: Enter a value greater than or equal to 0 (0%
opacity or completely transparent) and less than or equal to 1
(100% opaque).

EdgeShape

[EdgeShape]

Applies to: Text2D objects.

Description: Sets the shape of the edge that surrounds each
character in the Text2D object. Effects display only on the output
device.

Accepted values: Select from the drop-down list:

N

ONE

- No edge.

R

OUND

- Rounds off the text edge’s corners.

S

QUARE

- Squares off the text edge’s corners.

EdgeSize

[EdgeSize]

Applies to: Text2D objects.

Description: Sets the size (thickness) of the edge that surrounds
each character in the Text2D object. Effects display only on the
output device.

Accepted values: Enter the

NUMBER

PIXELS

of the desired width

of the edge.

EdgeType

[EdgeType]

Applies to: Text2D objects.

Description: Sets the style (type) of the edge that surrounds each
character in the Text2D object as either

FILLED

or

BORDERED

.

Effects display only on the output device.

Accepted values: Select from the drop-down list:

F

ILLED

- Fills the text’s edge.

B

ORDER

- Creates a border around the text’s edge, with no

fill.

EndFrame

[EndFrame]

Applies to: Cel animation objects.

Description: Sets the frame at which the cel animation will stop
playing.

Accepted values: Enter the value that corresponds to the last
frame
in the cel animation that you want to be played/displayed.
Note: You can determine the total number of frames the cel
animation consists of by right-clicking on the cel animation asset
in the Asset Browser and selecting the P

ROPERTIES

command.

The total number of frames is displayed within the #F

RAMES

property.
