Appendix C - Xstudio properties
Target
[CounterTarget]
•
Applies to: Text2D objects when the Time property is enabled.
•
Description: The target time to which the timer will count down to.
When the current time passes the target time, the count time will
stop at zero when the target time has been reached. See
simple clocks and timers using Text2D scene elements” on page
6-7

Accepted values: Selecting the Target property exposes the
button to open the C

dialog box. Use the up/down
arrows to select the exact hours, minutes, and seconds values to
be set as the used as the target time. Values can only be positive.
Text
[Text]
•
Applies to: Text2D objects.
•
Description: The exact text that displays in the Text2D object.
•
Accepted values: Type
TEXT
characters exactly as you want it to
display on the object.
Text Direction
[Direction]
•
Applies to: Text2D objects.
•
Description: The default direction of the text. This property is
useful for accommodating international languages.
•
Accepted values: Select from the drop-down list: L

Tracking
[Tracking]
•
Applies to: Text2D objects.
•
Description: Determines whether or not tracking is used to
appropriately space characters. Tracking generally is used to
increase letter spacing as type gets smaller and decrease it as
type gets larger.

Accepted values: Enter the
PIXEL
VALUE
. A positive value spreads
the font, whereas a negative value squeezes it in.
TransitionDirection
[TransitionDirection]

Applies to: All primitives when the
TransitionType
property is set to
